Creosote Cove

The Cove

Oil on Canvas     16"h x 40"w

This is the seecret anchorage of the Pirate fleet.  You can find it on your map as Willamette Cove, but we called it Creosote Cove becausen there used to be a creosote plant there.  It is now a toxic superfund site.  That keeps the general public away, though the paintball armies find it a perfect place for battles.  The sign on he tree warns of dangerous lead levels. You can see the tar staining of the sand on the right side of the beach.
